What an experience! Not only did I act in two scenes for a feature film called “The Weekend,” but was fortunate to have my makeup done by Samelia. Samelia is the makeup artist of choice for many celebrities including Naomi Watts and Kristin Cavalarri. I was so excited to personally work with her.
Samelia was so down to earth and had such a passion for her craft. I especially loved the way she made up my eyes. She also used Smart Cover on me, and was so impressed with how good it looked under the lights. She blended the Light Beige with a bit of the Color Corrector and sealed it all in with the Compact Finishing Powder. In fact, Smart Cover is now part of her makeup bag! You can see Samelia’s work by clicking here http://www.rougeartists.com/samelia/ I played a mom in two scenes – I’m a natural. The film is still being edited, but will keep you posted! Nancy |

We just received this photo from one of our male customers in Canada. He has a skin condition called Vitiligo, whereby the pigment is lost on the skin. We wanted to share his before and after photo. He looks so natural, even his hands don’t look made up. Here’s what Jim has to say about Smart Cover:

| Flori went to see Dr. Rudy Thompson, because she felt she need some help with her labular line from her nose down to her mouth. I saw her this evening and she looks great!
Here’s the scoop on Restylane from Dr. Rudy’s site, http://www.doctorsofcosmeticsurgery.com/ Restylane has been used in more than three million treatments in over 70 countries to correct a variety of wrinkles and to enhance the appearance of the lip border. It is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, which are the lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth. Restylane is cosmetic dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body. Restylane maintains its shape using the body’s own moisture. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is hydrophilic or “water loving.” As hyaluronic acid gradually degrades, each molecule binds to more water and over time, the same volume can be maintained with less hyaluronic acid. This ability of hyaluronic acid to bind to water is what helps provide lasting results. After your treatment, you might have some redness or swelling. This will normally last less than seven days. Studies have shown that Restylane effects generally last for about six months. Follow–up treatments are typically scheduled at six–month intervals. (Individual results may vary.) |
