More News On Set with Academy Award Nominee Diane Lane and Smart Cover
May 17th, 2007We recently spoke with our Hollywood Make-Up Advisor, Christina Smith about beautiful Diane Lane who’s currently on set doing a new film called “Untraceable.”

You may remember Diane from the “The Perfect Storm,” and “Under the Tuscan Sun,” and especially as an Academy Award nominee for Best Actress in the movie “Unfaithful.”
Diane had some really close up scenes and she wanted to cover up the freckles and sun spots on her hands. Smart Cover was the perfect concealer to use because it’s waterproof, it looked natural on her hands and it stayed on for hours while she was shooting many action scenes.
She likes it so much that we hear it’s in her purse!
The movie is about a serial killer with a sickening knack for showmanship and a keen sense of technological know-how, he sets up a graphic website to taunt the FBI and display his gruesome handiwork in this dark thriller from Columbia Pictures.
The film should be released in January of 2008.

“The Weekend” was a big hit in NYC!
May 3rd, 2007What fun to watch the screening of “The Weekend”. Most of the cast members were there and even the fabulous make-up artist Samelia flew in from Hollywood to see the film. It was so exciting to see myself on the silver screen. Smart Cover played its part and the cast members looked great wearing it.

The “Weekend” is a romantic teen comedy written and directed by a young filmmaker, Michael Kuskin. Remember when you were a teenager and every moment seemed epic, as if it would influence the rest of your life, but in reality, it was just another “weekend”??
Now they’re working on getting the film distributed and it looks promising. I did love my 15 minutes of fame!!
