Well, contouring can help change your facial features temporarily. By using darker shades of make-up to contour, and lighter shades to highlight; imperfect features can appear more attractive so you can enjoy looking in the mirror.

Flori says, “That can vary according to your individual needs and your bad spots. In general, here’s our list of the Top Three Must-Do’s before you leave the house in the morning.”

One, first apply that sunscreen. Then, apply the moisturizer that suits your skin type. Allow it to absorb so you don’t have any greasy residue.

Two, and this is most important, use a concealer to hide dark circles and other noticeable flaws that can make you look tired and older. Personally, I use the Perfect Touch Camouflage Creme to cover my dark eye circles, the deep furrows from the edge of my nose to my mouth, and the redness down the center of my nose. It really takes care of my bad spots. You should figure out yours.

Three, add some blusher or bronzer for a healthy, natural look. Then you’re ready to apply a complimentary soft color on your lips.

Absolutely! Healthy skin is always in season and requires your attention each and every day. Even on cloudy days, apply sunscreen of 15 SPF or higher before heading out.

Sandra Day, who is a corrective skin care expert, explained that the number next to “SPF” means how many minutes before the sun begins to penetrate the skin. That’s why “SPF” stands for Sun Protection Factor. Therefore, you are going to need to reapply it during the day. Also don’t forget, as Sandra says, to put it on behind your hands.

In warmer climates, it’s especially important to wear a long-sleeved shirt of a tightly woven fabric, a wide-brimmed hat, and UV sunglasses. Remember, the highest intensity of the sun is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily. Also remember that the sun really is your worst enemy when it comes to premature aging skin and everything that goes with it including freckles, age spots, and wrinkles. Please do be careful in the sun!
